Excursions:

During registration, you may choose only one of the following excursions (for an additional fee). Since the number of participants for each excursion is limited, we will apply “first arrived, first served” approach. Please, reserve your excursion during the registration. Later on, it will no longer be possible.

Option 1: Grenoble – 2000 years of history

Guided tour around the historical center of Grenoble that will allow you to discover the old places, alleys and historical figures of the town (duration 1h30).

Option 2: Bastille panorama

Guided tour around Bastille, the fortress above the city. Take the cable car to reach fortress where a guide will describe and explain the panorama. After the guide’s presentation, you can stay at the Bastille, choose to walk down on the pedestrian path, or use the cable car (duration 1h30, including the cable car journey).

Option 3: Chartreuse Cellar

Guided visit of the distillery in Voiron where the traditional herbal liqueur Chartreuse, named after mountains nearby Grenoble, is produced (duration 3h00, including journey).

Option 4: National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Grenoble

Visit the high-magnetic-field laboratory of the CNRS in Grenoble and see our installations with resistive magnets delivering up to 37 T that give users a possibility to perform a large variety of experiments (duration 1h30).
